Hi Maggie,
You should receive email when they sign-up showing their username and password. If you do not save this info, then your only alternative is to ask them for their email and to select a password and modify their account password through the admin panel as shown below:

1. Go to your admin panel
2. Click "User Login Administration"
3. Fill out the form under "Change an authenticated user password"
4. Click the submit button.
