Sorry -- just finished testing my fix. You're right, had nothing to do with your software.

BUT in case this problem/sympton happens to others -- the problem was that I transferred our website visitors to the discussion board via a Server.Transfer command, which does not pass nor show the full URL path in the browser. So the discussion board was not able to accurately read the referring URL path, and hence could not figure out which path the board messages were filed under.
