I started at camp I believe when I was about 11 years old(24 now), my younger brother was 6. I ended up attending Greenbrier over the next ~10 years both as a camper and Counselor. Having experience from both sides of camper/counselor I can only say that you have nothing to worry about. The first night at camp will probably be the hardest but that will only last a few hours compared to the fun he will have over the years to come should your son return.

The Counselors at Greenbrier are amazing and the atmosphere in general makes it very easy to make friends fast. The schedule day to day is also great for new campers. There is always something to do.

If there is anything else you would like to talk about feel free to contact me by e-mail, I love talking about camp.
