this is one of those stories that would be best handled going slowly, over six months or so. From first sight and the joy of learning John is alive to troubled times, headaches and flashes of memory, traces of a connection felt but the brainwashing countering them. Ultimately, this is a classic tale, a struggle between two very powerful forces, Marlena's love and Stefano's hate.

There should be moments of hope and then hopes dashed played out over time until we have a final dramatic showdown in which the memories of love and love offered in the present, against all odds, win out over the hatred driven darkness of the Dimera's.

I surely hope they can do it the way the characters, actors, and fans deserve for it to be done.

In any case, I'll be watching to find out.
