This might be of humorous in its nature but you ,the readers, should think about what is being said here even in its jest .... Windsor has to have a lower tax rate and other costs than Plaistow to live and survive! What, that is, with having no police, highway, library or schools to contend with within the hamlet. Maybe that is where the Plaistow developers elderly housing should go to build their "dreams" . I can see it now , a hamlet dedicated to the older people ready to slip on a banana peal with constant high turn over profits dedicated for the the developers wealth. The residents there that do have children in any out of town schools just have to pay for the out of town tuition ,the State police and Sheriffs Dept. or any adjoining police departments would answer the calls on an as needed basis for practically no cost to the citizens of the hamlet . The ambulance company serving the area could set up shop on the elderly housing property to serve them and , graciously , serve the town as well!! The more I think of it I'm ready to go to Windsor to live out my remaining time . When I consider the 7,000 plus green backs I pay in taxes here it just has to be cheaper to live there. I just might be able to play the lottery, go to bingo, eat out at times ,buy up to date clothing, etc., etc. Seriously though!!,I do think its time for another F.D.R. approach to our economic and worldly woes before we get further in trouble and go into an all out depression. The C.C.C. camps and W.P.A. are starting to look good now that we have lost our industries by selling them off and out sourcing what little that remains . If we are lucky enough to have not just freight but commuter trains slowly passing by our populace that want to will be able to hop on one to see the country and with very little hope for better living else where. That is what called riding the rails and being an adventurous hobo living in hobo camps nearby the tracks cooking on an open fire. Hell, we in N.H. are used to going camping anyway so that shouldn't be of any problem to us . Then too , maybe the Testa property will be the local riding the rails spot to hop on a train . By then Testa will be out of business and the empty building will be used to sleep in by the just passing through hobo's . AHH BUT YES!!! I can see it all now a town full of dusty cob webs as it were! I have allergies to dust an pollen and it is another reason why I'm really giving thought about moving to Windsor and not looking back as I do. I'll be one of many ,hopefully so,leaving behind such a wonderful and thoughtful legacy for those we leave behind to carry on in our place!! -- Now with out any humor and jest attempts I will say this WAKE UP PLAISTOW! and see what is happening around you by the self serving only agenda people who thrive in OUR town and its expense.
