Publicity Secretary of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party
(SLPP), Kailahun district, Friday admitted that
institutionalised corruption was rampant in the past
SLPP government.
Vandi Moijueh who is also a Councillor in the Kailahum
District Council told journalists at the Kenema Police
Station that the international community was not in
support of the defeated SLPP because the latter was
siphoning donor funds meant for poverty reduction.
"I am calling on the All Peoples Congress (APC)
government and the law enforcement agencies to
investigate and bring to book all corrupt officials
who contributed to the sufferings of the people of
Sierra Leone," Moijueh said.
