May I foremost thank you for putting the interests of the nation above yours. You acceptance of the rigged election results demonstrated to the world your nonviolence nature. As my namesake once said, "I HOLD that nonviolence is not merely a personal virtue. It is also a social virtue to be cultivated like the other virtues. Surely society is largely regulated by the expression of nonviolence in its mutual dealings. What I ask for is an extension of it on a larger, national and international scale.
All society is held together by nonviolence, even as the earth is held in her position by gravitation. But when the law of gravitation was discovered, the discovery yielded results of which our ancestors had no knowledge. Even so, when society is deliberately constructed in accordance with the law of nonviolence, its structure will be different in material particulars from what it is today. But I cannot say in advance what the government based on nonviolence will be like.
What is happening today is disregard of the law of nonviolence and enthronement of violence as if it were an eternal law.
Society based on nonviolence can only consist of groups settled in villages in which voluntary co-operation is the condition of dignified and peaceful existence".
Look at Kenya, to date there is still anger and such has claimed the lives of the poor in the communities.
Where are you for us to 'cathode' you - you need not run away.
It is imperative and a sense of duty for the once leader and elder of the SLPP to make it a point of duty to meet the SLPP UK and Ireland Branch whilst in the UK.
Bra Solo B, since you came we have not heard from you. A meeting with you will give us first hand information about our loss.
Whatever happened during the elections needs a narrative from you. Only you can make us understand the loss better.
It is a mark of respect for us to meet you and exchange salutations of the heart. To many of us, you won our hearts and minds. It is therefore perturbing for you to be too occupied to extend a call to us.
We (SLPP UK?IRELAND membership) would like to meet with you at your convenience to truly understand the love we shared together.
May God continue to bless and guide you.
