I'd like to ask if you think cooperativism could be a step in the right direction? I understand that cooperatives can be as conservative as any other type of business organization, but isn't it possible for a revolutionary brand of cooperativism to emerge? One with a vital and dynamic internal democracy, one which would model socialism on the shop or office level, one which would have a strong educational aspect, both internally and toward the larger community, one which would facilitate further organization into political arena, and which would view unions as fraternal organizations.
